Pay Range: HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST, SR - $85,300.80 to $136,468.80

Job Summary

The HR Specialist is responsible for administering and coordinating employee benefit programs--medical, dental, vision, life, supplemental life, short term and long term disability, 403(b), COBRA, Healthcare/Flexible Spending Accounts, and the Employee Assistance Plans. Administers benefits enrollments, changes, and termination of benefits for all employees of Henry Mayo.

What You'll Bring to the Team:
  • Previous knowledge in administering benefits preferred.
  • Working knowledge of HR processes working in an HRIS system, recruiting, employee relations, leave management, and benefits, either through education or functional experience.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability to explain benefit programs to employees clearly and concisely.
  • Organizational skills

Licensure and Certification:
  • N/A

Education:
  • A High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Associates Degree in Business or related field preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree highly desirable.

Experience:
  • Three to five (3-5) years of relevant experience in Human Resources or related field are required including HRIS employee data entry and changes and proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
