Job Summary:

As a Human Resources Representative for the Manufacturing and Technology project, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our project by performing a variety of HR support activities throughout the project lifecycle. You will contribute to fostering a positive work culture and optimize talent utilization. Major Responsibilities:

  • Staffing: Ensuring staffing tools are continuously up to date to proactively forecast staffing requirements. Supporting the recruiting cycle time by creating a partnership with hiring managers and recruiters to streamline our resource staffing process.
  • Mobilization: provide support to employees and their families relocating nationally and internationally to our project location and contribute to a smooth integration process as they transition to our project. Provide logistical support with various relocation elements including work visas.
  • Onboarding & Orientation: Facilitate seamless onboarding and orientation experiences for new team members, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary resources and information to excel in their roles from day one.
  • Performance Management: Identify areas of improvement and create development plans for our colleagues. Assist managers and supervisors with conducting regular performance discussions.
  • Employee Engagement: Design and execute employee engagement initiatives to maintain a positive work culture and boost team morale. Foster open communication and be a trusted resource for employees to address their concerns.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze various aspects of the employment cycle (hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations), design applicable reporting systems and recommends methods to reduce turnover and to increase organizational effectiveness.
  • Training & Development: coordinate / facilitate training sessions or workshops to enhance team capabilities to contribute to a high-performing work environment and foster team synergy.
  • Conflict Resolution: Mediate and resolve conflicts within project teams, promoting constructive dialogue and finding amicable solutions to ensure project continuity.
  • Compliance and Policy Adherence: Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements related to human resources, promoting a culture of compliance and fairness.
  • Perform other duties and initiatives as assigned by the Project HR Manager.


Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or other relevant disciplines from an accredited university and 2-5 years of relevant experience, or 6-9 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.


Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of Bechtel's organizational structure, Human Resources policies and procedures and tools (SmartStaff, TalentWorks, SAP).
  • Knowledge of legal requirements affecting Human Resources administration.
  • Experience in several Human Resources disciplines (Benefits, Compensation, EEO, Employment, Immigration, Records, Learning & Development, etc.).
  • Experience and demonstrated skill in conducting research, investigating alternative solutions, and outlining action to be performed.
  • Skill in the preparation and presentation of oral and written reports.
  • Bilingual strongly preferred (Spanish - English).
