About the RoleWe're looking for a driven and proactive Human Resources Manager to support our growing, multi-state organization. This role partners closely with the HR Director and leadership team to deliver high-quality HR support across multiple locations.
The ideal candidate is curious, solutions-oriented, and confident managing a mix of day-to-day HR operations and employee relations.
Key ResponsibilitiesHR Operations & Support- Act as a primary HR contact for employees and managers, answering questions related to policies, procedures, and payroll
- Administer HR programs including reporting, employee status changes, compliance tracking, and exit processes
- Maintain accurate personnel records and ensure HRIS data integrity
- Assist with payroll coordination to ensure timely and accurate processing
Employee Relations & Leadership Support- Serve as a trusted resource for managers, providing guidance on performance, coaching, and workplace concerns
- Support investigations and resolution of employee relations matters
Compliance & Process Management- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across multiple states
- Maintain and update policies, procedures, and employee handbook content
- Manage onboarding for 1099 contractors and ensure documentation is current
Systems & Training- Train managers on HR systems (including Insperity) and processes
- Monitor HR metrics and reporting to identify trends and improve processes
- Support ongoing process improvements to enhance employee experience
Additional Responsibilities- Oversee exit processes, including exit interviews and turnover analysis
- Partner with external vendors on HR initiatives and compliance
- Maintain strict confidentiality of employee information at all times
What You Bring- 6+ years of HR experience
- Strong understanding of HR practices and employment law
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across various locations
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- High level of discretion and professionalism
- Experience with HRIS systems
