Position Overview

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope® is seeking an experienced and hands-on Human Resources Manager to support our Moorestown, New Jersey operations. This role serves as the lead HR partner for multiple facilities, providing both strategic and day-to-day human resources leadership while supporting plant leadership, employees, and business objectives across the region.

This position is ideal for a strong HR leader who thrives in a manufacturing environment and enjoys balancing employee relations, leadership coaching, workforce planning, and operational HR support. The Human Resources Manager will serve as the primary HR leader for the Moorestown facilities while overseeing an HR Business Partner and supporting additional satellite locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary HR leader supporting multiple manufacturing and distribution locations.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and oversight to an HR Business Partner while ensuring consistent HR support across assigned locations.
  • Partner with plant leadership to provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, and organizational development.
  • Manage employee relations matters including investigations, corrective actions, conflict resolution, and terminations while ensuring consistency and compliance.
  • Coach managers and supervisors on employee relations, leadership effectiveness, policy interpretation, and performance management.
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, succession planning, retention initiatives, and talent development programs.
  • Maintain an active and visible presence throughout the facilities and establish strong relationships with employees and leadership teams.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives that support retention and a positive workplace culture.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, employment laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with operations leadership to align workforce initiatives with business objectives.
  • Lead change management efforts and support organizational initiatives across multiple facilities.
  • Collaborate with regional and corporate HR leaders to execute strategic HR programs and initiatives.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of Human Resources experience at the HR Manager level or in a comparable leadership role.
  • Strong employee relations experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, industrial, or operations-driven environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and coach leaders at all levels of an organization.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR policies, and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently while serving as the primary HR presence for multiple locations.
  • Strong communication, conflict resolution, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Multi-site HR management experience.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, or managing HR staff.
  • Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Professional HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR.
  • Experience supporting distributed operations and multiple business units.
  • Familiarity with HRIS, payroll, and timekeeping systems.
Travel Requirements
  • Primary office location is Moorestown, NJ.
  • Regular travel between Moorestown Glass and Moorestown Metal facilities.
  • Periodic travel to Secaucus, NJ.
  • Occasional travel to Syracuse, NY, as business needs require.


Position Pay Range

$95,000-$130,000 USD
