Human Resources Manager

We are looking for a Human Resources Manager to join our team in Round Rock, Texas. You will be responsible for all facets of Human Resources including training & leadership development, employee engagement, employee relations, and will assist with staffing, compensation & benefits. This is a hands-on role with a high involvement in day-to-day activities that requires onsite presence (not a remote position). The position may require limited travel within the U.S. The role will report to the Sr. Director of HR.

Location: Round Rock, Texas (Onsite)

Salary: $115,000 - $130,000

Your Challenge:
  • Support senior management in implementing the organization's business strategy and objectives, advise management on their operational and business decisions, and make recommendations to achieve objectives.
  • Responsible for the administration of the performance coaching and salary administration programs to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within the organization. Will apply compensation benchmarking, provide thorough analysis of results, prepare recommendations and action plans to address identified gaps. Responsible for managing annual variable compensation plans for the business unit.
  • Responsible for the succession planning, training and leadership development initiatives required at the business unit.
  • Will assess needs and work proactively with management to define programs and plans to comply with any and all quality requirements associated with the HR function.
  • Provide direction and coaching to management and employees on effective resolution of employee relations and performance issues. Manages company departure process.
  • Identifies and interprets legal requirements affecting human resources functions and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance. Advises management on legislative changes affecting HR programs.
  • Conduct research regarding human resources issues and trends. Recommend proactive programs, procedures and plans to improve employee satisfaction.
  • Manage and motivate assigned staff, plan and establish goals & objectives, evaluate performance and provide on-going feedback.
  • Will serve as a close advisor to the head of HR and will be a key team member of the HR Team.


What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in Human Resources, with 3+ years in supervisory/management role
  • Professional HR designation is preferred.
  • Experience in training adult learners and experience with Workday is preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Solution and results focused with a strong take-action attitude. Initiative is key for success in this position.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated abilities for coaching and counseling managers and employees at all levels.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced level Excel user with demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective program, policies, processes, and systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, matrix organization yet be a strong relationship builder.
  • Will be a member of the site's Sr. Staff and must demonstrate HR value in all work-related venues.
