The Human Resources Manager serves as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing strategic and operational HR guidance across talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, workforce planning, organizational development, payroll administration, compliance, and performance management.

Key Responsibilities

HR Strategy & Organizational Development
  • Adapt and implement global and regional HR strategies within the assigned area of responsibility.
  • Implement corporate HR policies and programs, modifying them as needed to address local business and workforce requirements.
  • Develop and improve local HR policies and programs in response to changing business conditions, workforce needs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Advise leadership on organizational structure, workforce planning, and change management initiatives.
  • Support business transformations, reorganizations, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Participate in and/or lead regional and global HR projects and initiatives.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
  • Develop proactive recruitment strategies to ensure appropriate staffing levels and workforce capabilities.
  • Manage all permanent and temporary staffing requirements.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain a qualified, engaged, and productive workforce.

Compensation, Benefits & Payroll
  • Ensure competitive compensation and benefits programs in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • Manage personnel-related expenses, including compensation adjustments, training investments, employee events, and related budget items.
  • Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining employee engagement and operational effectiveness.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, timekeeping administration, and related HR transactions.

Employee Development & Performance Management
  • Drive employee development and training programs that support business objectives and employee growth.
  • Lead performance management processes, including goal setting, employee feedback, and appraisal activities.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and employee engagement.
  • Coach and support supervisors in effectively managing employee performance and development.

Employee Relations & Compliance
  • Serve as the primary HR resource for employees and leadership on HR-related matters.
  • Advise the Management Team on employee relations, workforce management, and compliance issues.
  • Determine and administer disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies and applicable employment regulations.
  • Foster a respectful, inclusive, and positive work environment aligned with BENTELER's mission, values, and leadership principles.
  • Partner with external organizations, governmental agencies, and public authorities as needed.

Metrics, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
  • Ensure accurate and timely HR KPI reporting and workforce analytics.
  • Monitor key performance indicators including:
    • Full-Time Employee (FTE) Headcount
    • Voluntary Turnover Rate
    • Overtime Costs
  • Analyze trends and implement corrective actions to address performance gaps.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of HR programs and process improvements.
  • Establish and maintain efficient HR processes, systems, and organizational structures that support business goals.


Qualifications

Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience in a manufacturing environment, including leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation, employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and employment law.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex situations, resolve issues, and make sound business decisions in a timely manner.

Preferred
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms such as SAP HCM, SuccessFactors, and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) is a plus.
