Human Resources Manager Qualifications and Skills:- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Personnel Management, Business, or related field preferred
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP preferred
- Expertise in HR principles and practices
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and prioritize workload
- Knowledge of various federal and state employment laws
- Demonstrated conflict resolution skills
Human Resources Manager Responsibilities and Duties:
- Responsible for human resources planning and programs related to employment, compensation, benefits, performance management, employee relations, recruiting and retention, development, and compliance with applicable federal and state laws
- Provide human resources expertise, guidance, and advice to the Executive Leadership and Management Team
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies
- Oversee benefits management including regular evaluation of benefit packages and insurance programs
- Identify, develop, and execute best practices for recruiting, onboarding, and staffing
- Facilitate employee professional development, training, and certification activities
- Assess staffing needs and recommend initiatives to help resolve identified position gaps
- Recommend and implement personnel policies and procedures, and coordinate updates to the ATL Employee Handbook
- Monitor and refine the performance evaluation program and annual review process
- Mentor managers and other supervisory staff in their human resources responsibilities
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills while working collaboratively with others to constructively solve daily HR challenges
- Recommend and implement procedural improvements for the HR Department and systems
- Maintain properly trained and qualified HR Department staff to provide professional and timely services internally and to external clients
- Develop and execute the HR Department's budget
Salary Description
$90,000-$120,000/yearly
