ResponsibilitiesThe National Aerospace and Cyber & Intelligence Sector HR Team has an opportunity for a mid-career Human Resources Business Partner who delivers beyond transactional by being a strategic partner. This role is best suited for someone who is experienced as an HRBP and is energized by the idea of HR adding value to the business. - Ability to clearly document HR processes, summarize findings, and draft professional communications related to HR and employee relations matters
- Able to manage multiple tasks, remain flexible, and maintain productivity in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Supports positive interactions between employees and leadership by serving as an approachable and reliable HR resource
- Demonstrates sound judgment in handling sensitive information and communicates with appropriate discretion based on role and context
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner, generalist, or related HR function
- Solid understanding of HR practices including performance management, employee relations, and employment law basics
- Ability to give, receive, and implement constructive feedback
- Positive, adaptable mindset when priorities shift or processes evolve
- Comfort working effectively in ambiguous circumstances
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills that aid in building trust quickly
- Confidence to interact with business leaders at all levels
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
- Must be a US citizen
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting a government contracting workforce
- Familiarity with HR platforms like Workday and iCIMS
- HR Certification (HRCI or SHRM)
Target Salary Range$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
