While the VP of P&C stays aligned to the Board, driving leadership accountability and acting as a bridge and driverof value creation for the business, you will be the business partner that engages and empowers our working managers and their teams, ensuring the pedal stays to the floor on the talent initiatives driving performance and talent development within the organization. You'll collaborate on the strategy and direction drivingHuman Capital results for Unlimited and represent a presence of constancy, partnership, support, and HR accountability across the workforce.
This position will be accountable for:

As relevant: working with chosen vendor to prepare, and/or fully process and manage, Unlimited Systems' payroll and benefits administration.

The Person Being both ruthlessly tactical and endlessly empathetic is what allows Human Resources professionals to be successful in the dynamic world of Human Capital. The person who will be successful in this role should be no exception.
In this position you will be asked to:
- Think proactively but build reactively. As we experience new growth in this exciting phase of Unlimited Systems' story, our People team will plan strategically but adapt realistically to the critical needs of the business. Being a self-starter who is willing to move "up and to the right" with passion, while balancing expectations (and stamina) for pivots and sprints, will set you up for success as we establish the Human Capital function and set the stage for value creation over the coming years.
- Bring your voice. This role is an opportunity for career growth. The more you bring your perspective and strategic intuition to the table, the more opportunities you'll bring to yourself and to the organization. Open communication on the People team will be a price of admission. Our team will only succeed at scale when each member is willing to articulate observations, and make strategic recommendations, with transparency and respect. We'll build internal trust so that we can go farther together. The boldness to speak for yourself and for what you know the organization may need to win will be critical.
- Take extreme ownership. Even as a newly formed team, we'll have limited resources to affect and sustain the change we're aspiring toward. We will be closely in-sync to build, review, and manage the People roadmap and the division of ownership will be clear. Once the plan is set, you'll be trusted to go, do, and deliver back on the outcomes agreed upon with trust and without micro-inspection. With ownership will come accountability, and embracing successes and failures in the role with willingness and integrity will fuel your success.
- Roll up your sleeves and anticipate opportunities for growth and career advancement. All leaders within our business are accountable for delivery. We are a passionate team of player-coaches, who expect to get our hands dirty while we hone our craft and function, believing that the sweat equity we invest in the organization will return that investment in us as we prove our performance.
