Responsibilities

  • Assist the Employee and Labor Relations team with various activities pertaining to employee and labor relations.
  • Manage projects related to grievances and disciplinary cases while ensuring policy adherence.
  • Analyze employee relations data to improve workflows and provide actionable insights.
  • Partner with departments to maintain consistent and accurate employee relations processes.
  • Coordinate investigation-related tasks to ensure compliance with procedures.
  • Interpret collective bargaining agreements and applicable employment laws.
  • Provide guidance and communication to staff regarding employee relations matters.

The Human Resources Analyst II supports the Employee and Labor Relations team by assisting with a wide range of employee and labor relations activities. Responsibilities include project management, interpreting contracts, tracking grievances and disciplinary cases, coordinating investigation related tasks, and ensuring consistent application of policies, standard operating procedures and collective bargaining agreements. The role also involves analyzing employee relations data, improving workflows, and partnering with departments to provide accurate information and guidance.

This position helps keep employee and labor relations processes organized, consistent, and running efficiently across the organization.

  • Knowledge of Human Resources Principles and Practices
  • Knowledge of employee relations, labor relations, workplace investigations, performance management, collective bargaining agreements, and applicable employment laws and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience:
  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Social Science, Business Administration, or related degree program from an accredited institution of higher education; AND Two (2) years of professional Human Resources experience related to the position (Employee and Labor Relations).
  • OR An associate degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Social Science, Business Administration, or related degree program from an accredited institution of higher education; AND Four (4) years of professional Human Resources experience related to the position (Employee and Labor Relations).
  • OR High school diploma/GED AND six (6) years of professional level human resources experience related to the position (Employee and Labor Relations).
