Job SummaryThe HR Business Partner will work onsite in De Leon Springs, FL, collaborating closely with company leaders to understand business needs and translate them into effective HR strategies. This role will design and implement a comprehensive workforce plan that supports organizational goals across areas such as organizational effectiveness, talent development, employee productivity, talent selection, and engagement.
The HR Business Partner will partner with line management to ensure full understanding of business objectives, apply Human Resources policies, and proactively resolve HR-related issues. This role will support leadership in evaluating staffing requirements and driving effective selection and retention strategies. Additional responsibilities include partnering with leaders on salary planning, performance management, employee relations, and talent management while ensuring HR objectives, policies, and procedures are clearly communicated and consistently applied.
Acting as a change agent, service expert, employee champion, and strategic business partner, the HR Business Partner plays a key role in advancing both employee success and organizational performance.
Responsibilities and Tasks- Facilitates weekly meetings with respective departments.
- Consults with management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
- Conducts the full spectrum of employee relations issues, providing expert investigation, guidance, and resolution across all levels of complexity.2
- Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
- Partners with various HR teams/subject matter experts on a regular basis (Recruiting, HRIS, Benefits/Compensation, etc.)
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Provides guidance and input on assigned functional group restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
- Identifies training needs for functional groups and individual executive coaching needs.
- Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, Licenses and Certifications- Bachelor's degree is preferred (additional 5-10 years experience may substitute)
- 5 or more years of progressive related experience is required
Skills and Abilities- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
- Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
