SUMMARY:
The HRBP is responsible for managing a broad spectrum of Human Resources functions that includes talent management and development, talent acquisition, workforce planning, and employee relations.
Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Is the main point of contact for all HR-related topics for assigned area/client groups.
Builds close relationships with customers, partners, and teammates, constantly striving to increase the HR value-proposition for Yamaha.
Works closely with client group on matters involving the Human Capital of YMMC.
Consults with leadership on workforce development needs and facilitates talent acquisition activities.
Analyzes key HR metrics in an effort to proactively identify workforce trends and facilitate the creation of value-add HR programs.
Uses data to create value add reports to solve problems.
Partners with leaders and employees to manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal and policy requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Challenges him/herself to think differently and be innovation-minded so the HR Organization can continue to evolve and be on the leading-edge of workplace trends.
Participates in and/or leads HR-related projects and initiatives.
Qualifications
Education / Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Business-related field; Master's degree a plus.
A minimum of 5 years of overall HR experience, with at least 3 years as a Generalist.
