HSES Manager

About the job

This is a key leadership role responsible for driving Health, Safety, Environmental and Security excellence at our Salisbury, NC site. The HSES Manager plays a critical role in ensuring regulatory compliance, fostering a strong safety culture, and supporting sustainable operations across the site.

In your future role as HSES Manager, you will

  • Lead and manage site Health, Safety, Environmental and Security (HSES) programs to ensure compliance with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee environmental permitting, reporting, and compliance activities, including air, stormwater, and other regulatory programs.
  • Serve as the site safety expert by implementing and continuously improving safety initiatives, incident investigations, emergency response planning, and behavioral safety programs.
  • Support Process Safety Management (PSM) activities, acting as champion for incident investigation and emergency planning processes.
  • Drive sustainability initiatives and Responsible Care activities while guiding site leadership on HSES policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, community organizations, and emergency response groups, to support site objectives and compliance.

Great if you have

  • Experience in the chemical, pharmaceutical, or other process manufacturing industries.
  • Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) programs.
  • Knowledge of Responsible Care, OSHA regulations, emergency response planning, and sustainability initiatives.
