DESCRIPTION:
This role will support our CMD Commercial and Marketing functions. From sample to knowledge to results, the Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry business develops and manufactures leading-edge chromatography and mass spectrometry instruments, consumables, and software solutions for customers working in the analytical sciences (routine testing markets) and scientific research. Our complete workflow solutions enable productivity and efficiency for customers performing food and beverage testing and manufacturing, environmental and industrial testing, biopharma QA/QC, toxicology, and anti-doping. For scientific research customers, our products support a range of focus areas, including proteomics, metabolomics, drugdiscovery, and clinical research. 

Position Specific Information: 

The HR Manager, US Commercial, is responsible for providing HR business partnership and support to field-based Sales, Marketing and Applications teams in the US. This role will work in close collaboration with the broader commercial HR team to support and execute on HR priorities for the function, enable capability development and to support employee engagement. HR Manager will also lead and / or support key functional or Division wide projects and ad-hoc requests. This position reports into Director HR, Corporate.  With matrix reporting to the Sr HR Director, Global Commercial and Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides HR solutions support, process knowledge advice, and consultation to assigned client group.

  • Mentor managers on issues including application of HR policies and processes, restructuring, and complex employee issues in order to strengthen overall organizational capability. Coach employees on people management, career development, personal leadership, and 360 assessments.

  • Partner with management and broader HR team to understand business goals and people implications.

  • Plan and operate independently when making decisions for client groups, use Sr HR Director and HR team as sounding board and partner for complex issues and approvals when required.

  • Participate in the broader Division HR team to drive HR solutions such as process improvement as well as lead or be part of other broad scale HR projects and initiatives.

  • Conduct Employee/Labor Relations investigations in partnership with ER and provide recommendation for resolution where appropriate.

  • Drive manager and employee Self-Service adoption on HR processes and highly repeatable functional tasks.

  • Collaborate withPlatformsto complete and implement large scale HR initiatives (i.e. roll out annual programs, new programs/policies, etc.)

  • Drive recruitment efforts within established division guidelines. Partner with managers in establishing hiring and compensation strategies.

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education 

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business administrations or a related field required. Master’s degree would be an advantage 

 

Experience 

  • Minimum of 5 years of HR work experience or equivalent work experience required

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $103,100.00–$154,700.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
