Full Job Description
This role is responsible for translating enterprise people strategy into strong, consistent execution across multiple stores and distribution centers.

As a player-coach, you will lead a team of HR Generalists while serving as a trusted advisor to District and Regional Operations leaders. This role requires strong judgment, executive presence, and deep expertise in employee relations, talent development, and workforce strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Field HR Team: Lead, coach, and develop a team of HR Generalists while establishing clear expectations, priorities, and standards for field HR execution.
  • Partner on Workforce Planning: Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and field leadership to anticipate hiring needs, address talent risks, and develop proactive recruiting strategies based on business needs.
  • Manage Employee Relations & Risk: Serve as the escalation point for complex employee relations matters and oversee sensitive investigations, partnering with Legal and senior HR leadership as needed.
  • Ensure HR Compliance & Consistency: Interpret and apply HR policies consistently across the district, identify gaps, and support implementation of new or updated HR practices.
  • Drive Talent & Leadership Development: Lead district talent initiatives including succession planning, talent reviews, 360 feedback, leadership development, and performance management.
  • Advise Field Leadership: Serve as a trusted HR advisor to District and Regional leaders, providing coaching and guidance on employee, talent, and organizational matters.
  • Translate Strategy into Action: Turn enterprise HR strategies into effective field execution while leveraging workforce data and employee insights to identify trends, opportunities, and recommendations.
