Full Job Description
Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Data Transaction & Process Automation Team Lead to join our HR Resource Center (HRRC). This role is critical in modernizing HR processes, reducing manual work, and driving the adoption of automated, digital employee journeys.

This position is a hybrid role, in our Charlotte office 3 days a week and will lead the HRRC Data Transaction Team, which is currently responsible for highly manual data entry and transaction processing. The successful candidate will be accountable for transforming these operations by:
  • Leadership: Strong leadership experience through managing, mentoring, and developing a team of HR operations associates. Fostering a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth, accountability, and adaptability as the team transitions from manual data entry to advanced automated processes. Guiding associates through change, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Automating Data Transactions: Identifying opportunities to automate manual data entry processes, leveraging workflow enhancements and system integrations to significantly reduce manual effort.
  • Workflow Optimization: Designing and implementing improved workflows that streamline data transaction activities, increase accuracy, and support a seamless employee experience.
  • Bot Solutions for Redundant Tasks: Evaluating and deploying bot solutions to process redundant or repetitive transactions, freeing up team capacity for higher-value work.
  • Continuous Improvement: Partnering with technology and analytics teams to monitor transaction performance, identify pain points, and drive ongoing improvements in efficiency and quality.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between HR Operations and IT/Digital Transformation teams to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications for bot and workflow development. Navigate organizational resistance to automation by developing and leading comprehensive change management strategies that transition staff from manual processing to higher-value analytical roles.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and identify opportunities to modernize HR processes across the HRRC, with a focus on automation, workflow redesign, and digital enablement.
  • Reduce manual data handling and spreadsheet-based processes by implementing automated workflows, integrations, and standardized digital tools.
  • Design and implement improved workflows that support efficiency, accuracy, and a seamless employee experience. Drive a measurable reduction in operational overhead by eliminating manual redundancies, targeting a specific percentage decrease in transaction cycle times.
  • Collaborate with HRRC teams to identify and implement opportunities for improving service delivery through modernization and automation.
  • Deliver insights and recommendations to increase efficiency, reduce manual work, and improve service quality.
  • Enhance data integrity and organizational compliance by replacing error-prone manual entries with standardized, automated validation rules.
  • Build a scalable operational framework that allows the HRRC to handle increased transaction volumes without a proportional increase in headcount.
  • Directly improve the Employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS) by reducing the "time-to-resolution" for critical HR data requests.

  • Experience in a shared services or HR Resource Center environment utilizing ServiceNow for case management.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data to drive decisions and improvements.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills, with the ability to influence and drive change across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Experience with HR service delivery models, process design, SLAs, and KPIs.
