Position Overview:

The HR Controller serves as a key liaison between HR and Finance, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and strategic workforce cost planning in a construction industry environment.
• Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee payroll accounting, accruals, and reconciliations using QuickBooks Online
  • Partner with HR leadership on compensation and benefits cost analysis, particularly for field and project-based employees
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and internal controls
  • Develop and maintain HR-related financial reporting and forecasting models
  • Support audits related to payroll, benefits, and employee-related expenses
  • Analyze workforce metrics to support strategic decision-making across construction operations
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or advanced degree preferred
• 7+ years of experience in accounting or finance with exposure to HR or payroll functions
• Experience supporting the construction industry or similar project-based environments preferred
