HR Business Partner
Description: Human Resources Business Partner reports directly to the Human Resources Director with a dotted line to the facility leader. This role is a key member of the site leadership team driving the human resources strategy and operational plans for the organization.
Responsibilities:- Lead and manage all human resources activities for the site, including strategic planning and execution of programs to bolster a culture of high performance.
- Lead and manage the recruitment process from the recruitment branding and applicant tracking to ensure we hire high performing talent aligning with company values and principles.
- Drive performance management and succession planning for the site.
- Partner with site leadership team to drive human resources strategies aligned to meet site goals and priorities.
- Develop and drive training initiatives
- Lead and manage all employee relations issues, including fostering a culture where employees feel productive and valuable contributors to the business.
- Serve as the site expert for all workforce planning issues.
- Ensure regulatory compliance on all federal, state and local regulations throughout the site are applied and adhered to.
- Work closely with the Human Resources team on global or domestic Human Resources projects as needed.
- Evaluate and modernize current systems, policies and practices to reflect current best practices within the Human Resources function.
- Work through the sponsorship process with current employees that require support
Qualifications:Essential Skills / Experience / Qualifications:- Must have a bachelor's degree in human resources or business management
- 7-10 years HR Generalist experience; 3+ years of HR Management
- Strong background in practicing HR in a manufacturing environment
- Must be bi-lingual(English/Spanish)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.)
- Knowledge of applicable labor laws and regulations
- Labor relations background
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels in the organization
- Experience working with sponsored employees and immigration processes
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship building techniques
- Strong presentation skills
- Must be trustworthy and maintain confidentiality
- Experience with HRIS Systems
- Supervised a minimum of 1 direct report in the past
- Ability to work 100% on-site during the core hours of 7-4 or 8-5 (remote work not available for this role)
Desirable Skills:- Multi-site experience
- CPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP Certification
- Knowledge of ADP payroll system and SuccessFactors HCM system
Salary Expectations:Salary range - $100,000 - $120,000 USD
Bonus potential 10%
