Full Job Description
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is accountable for supporting both strategic and operational human resources initiatives, serving as a trusted partner to leaders with a primary focus on Fabrication operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary HR contact for Fabrication operations
  • Partner with leaders to assess workforce needs and support organizational structure and staffing strategies
  • Provide guidance on performance management, employee development, and workplace culture
  • Support managers with employee relations matters including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, Workers' Compensation)
  • Develop and implement HR policies, processes, and procedures
  • Partner with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition to support full-cycle recruiting efforts
  • Assist with onboarding, orientation, and employee integration
  • Participate in performance management processes, development planning, and succession planning
  • Identify training needs and support delivery of HR, leadership, and compliance training
  • Maintain accurate employee data and ensure HRIS integrity
  • Support compensation processes to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity
  • Partner with field and project teams to forecast workforce needs and support workforce planning initiatives
  • Assist with seasonal workforce planning, layoffs, and return-to-work processes
  • Perform other duties as required to support business needs
Qualifications:
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Experience Required:
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience
  • At least 2 years in an HRBP or Generalist role
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting construction, fabrication, or similar industries
  • Experience in both union and non-union environments
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
