Position Title:

Human Resource Business Partner

Pay Rate:

$101,000 - $134,600

Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range. Variable pay may provide additional opportunities for financial awards. This job is eligible to participate in IP's annual incentive plan.

The Job You Will Perform:
  • Provide support to one or more corrugated manufacturing plants and/or warehouse facilities. Regular travel to all facilities required.
  • Work collaboratively with Regional Human Resource Manager and facility management to provide superior human resources services to our employees and the facility.
  • Support a broad range of human resource activities including employee engagement, performance management, recruitment and selection, equal employment, employee relations, employee benefits, compliance training, leadership development.
  • Hands on position that requires interaction and visibility with all levels of the organization.


The Skills You Will Bring:
  • Highly motivated, engaged, committed individual that has an interest and background in Human Resources in a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in business, human resources or a related field is required.
  • Minimum 4-6 years multi-faceted Human Resource Generalist experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with both union and union-free location a plus
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and change management skills
  • Ability to lead and influence others
  • Demonstrated ability in managerial courage
  • Flexibility as it relates to work hours and work location during the week.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Customer focused.
  • Problem solving, organizational, communication and people skills.
