POSITION SUMMARY: The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for aligning HR objectives alongside the business goals within their assigned region(s). The position serves as a consultant and main point of contact to management for human resource-related issues. The HRBP is a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of Human Resources; resolves a wide range of issues, and assists in the development of strategic Human Resources programs that will engage, develop, and retain employees.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Maintains a proficient level of business literacy regarding the company's financial position, midrange plans, competition, and financial impact of central business functions.
- Identifies training needs for field operations; conducts training as required by the business needs and/or company.
- Coordinates company responses to discrimination charges, EEOC/DOL investigations, and related litigation.
- Provides analysis of key HR metrics; identifies solutions, programs and policies by identifying trends in turnover, hiring, promotions, separations, grievances and company programs. Recommends appropriate action(s).
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reduces legal risks, has union awareness, and ensures regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
- Administers company policies and procedures to meet organizational needs and comply with state, federal, and local laws.
- Summarizes findings of Exit Interviews and discusses trends and concerns with regional leadership.
- Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
- Creates strong business partnerships with regional leadership by understanding the organization's objectives, issues, needs, and key success factors.
- Leads and supports the Human Resources department in all stages of the acquisition process and prioritizes transactions to align with business strategy and growth plans.
- Provides performance management guidance to regional leadership, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions.
- Works closely with management and employees to improve working relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Trains, coaches, and acts as a mentor to HR Specialists. Partners with HR Specialists to manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES:
- Bachelor's degree, in Human Resources, Business or related field preferred
- 3-5 years of HR generalist experience; Healthcare or service industry preferred
- Strong decision making skills with proven ability to build relationships and influence at all levels
- Self-starting and assertive, high energy, highly organized; possesses ownership mentality
- Collaborative with strong interpersonal skills
- Strong presentation skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management, organizational and follow-up skills with ability to demonstrate initiative and work independently
- Ability to work effectively under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to travel up to 30%
