Full Job Description
The HotelArea Manager is responsible for delivering hotel management services to ownerclients, driving strong operational and financial performance at each hotelwhile also protecting the profitability of the management relationship for MHG.This requires balancing multiple priorities to ensure each managementrelationship remains productive and profitable for MHG.

Serving as a key liaison between MHG, hotelleadership and ownership, the Hotel Area Manager monitors performance,identifies risks and opportunities, and provides guidance, training, andaccountability to drive strong results.

This rolealso supports the evaluation of new clients, and importantly, the onboarding ofnew clients, developing resources required to deliver services profitably,perform due diligence, financial forecasting, and manage hotel managementtransitions, including the adoption of new systems and platforms. The person inthis role must be a quick learner and strong process builder, able to quicklyunderstand new client needs and create practical tools, workflows, andresources to support effective transitions.

Success in this position requires strongfinancial judgment, disciplined time management, excellent communication skillsand the ability to balance service delivery across existing clients,prospective clients, and new hotel transitions in a way that supports bothclient success and a profitable management relationship for MHG.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Ensure eachclient relationship supports strong hotel performance while remainingprofitable, productive, and sustainable for MHG.
• Translateannual financial goals into practical operating plans for each hotel.
• Oversee,coach, develop, and hold General Managers accountable for property performance.
• Leadproperty-level financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, labormanagement, expense control, and profitability.
• Train GeneralManagers on workforce planning, employee programs, compliance, facilitiesmaintenance, capital planning, and risk management.
• Reviewmonthly operating results, identify variances, and ensure appropriatecorrective action.
• Monitor guestexperience, service standards, operational compliance, staffing efficiency, andproperty performance.
• Serve as theprimary operational liaison between MHG and property ownership.
• Communicateresults, challenges, opportunities, and recommendations clearly to ownershipand MHG leadership.
• Support newclient evaluation, onboarding, property transitions, and stabilization.
• Support theperformance of food and beverage and other outlets, where applicable, includinglabor, pricing, service standards, and profitability.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Significanthotel, resort, or hospitality operations leadership experience.
• Prior GeneralManager experience is required.
• Prior AreaManager, Regional Operations Manager or comparable above-property leadershipexperience required.

• Strongfinancial acumen, including experience with budgets, forecasts, financialstatements, labor controls, and multi-level profitability.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Must beeligible to work in the United States of America
• Must be atleast 18 years of age
• Must be ableto work at a computer for long periods of time
• Some travelto hotel sites is required.
• Work environment willbe a combination of office, remote and on property.
• Evening andweekend work may be required to support business needs and employeerelations matters.
