UnityPoint Clinic is actively recruiting for a Hospitalist Advanced Practitioner to join our team in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

UnityPoint Health - Cedar Rapids serves a seven-county area surrounding Cedar Rapids.   • Well established Hospitalist program since 2006, currently includes 20 physician & 4 APPs
  • Care team support that includes 6 dedicated hospitalist RNs for care coordination and rounding efficiency + 1 Diabetes Mangaement CDCES RN
  • Excellent multi-specialty and procedural support
  • Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination


Responsibilities

  • Full-time position
  • 12 hour daytime shifts ; 5 days on, 5 days off; 2 days on, 2 days off. Including weeeknds/holidays.


Qualifications

  • Nurse Practitioner (Acute Care Nurse Practitioner preferred) or Physician Associate
  • Board Certified
  • Inpatient experience as an APP or registered nurse
  • Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
  • Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
  • Eligible to work in the United States
