UnityPoint Health - Cedar Rapids serves a seven-county area surrounding Cedar Rapids. - Well established Hospitalist program since 2006, currently includes 20 physician & 4 APPs
- Care team support that includes 6 dedicated hospitalist RNs for care coordination and rounding efficiency + 1 Diabetes Mangaement CDCES RN
- Excellent multi-specialty and procedural support
- Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
Responsibilities- Full-time position
- 12 hour daytime shifts ; 5 days on, 5 days off; 2 days on, 2 days off. Including weeeknds/holidays.
Qualifications- Nurse Practitioner (Acute Care Nurse Practitioner preferred) or Physician Associate
- Board Certified
- Inpatient experience as an APP or registered nurse
- Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
- Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
- Eligible to work in the United States
