Nocturnist Physician - Aberdeen and Bel Air, MDWe have an opportunity for a BE/BC Internal Medicine Nocturnist Physician to join our well-established Hospital Medicine service at University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health locations in Bel Air and Aberdeen.
ABOUT THE ROLE- Full-service hospitalist practice at University of Maryland (UM) Upper Chesapeake Health locations in Bel Air and Aberdeen
- Part of the University of Maryland Medical System
- University hospital with excellent specialty support
- Average 15 patients/day
- Closed ICU, our team is not expected to perform procedures or run codes
- Staffing Model: 23 providers; 12 physicians/11 APPs
-Day: 10 Physicians and 7 APPs
-Swing: 1 APP
-Night: 2 Physicians and 3 APPs
- EMR: EPIC
- Beds 257
- Trauma Level - Level II
- Graduate of an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
- Responsibilities include admissions unit-based rounding, discharges, and daily multidisciplinary rounds, geographic rounds, participant in rapid response and code team

REQUIREMENTS- BE/BC in Internal Medicine
- Strong inpatient skill set
- Quality-focused team player
- Experience working with advanced practice providers
- Excellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to function effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
- Active (state) license, American Heart Association CPR Certification, DEA License, state Controlled Substance Registration, ACLS
- Salary Range: $265,500k - $305,00k
