The Manager collaborates with the Department Director to develop and implement the departmental strategic plan. The Manager assumes responsibility for the practice, quality of care, financial performance and service delivered. The Manager provides leadership and direction to staff that encourages optimum staff performance and the achievement of strategic imperatives.
Education Required - Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
Preferred - Master's degree in Business or related healthcare field or actively enrolled in a master's degree program
Work ExperienceRequired - 3 years related clinical experience including two years of supervision or management experience.
CertificationsRequired - Eligibility for licensure to practice Physical, Occupational, or Speech therapy in the state of practice
Preferred- Licensed therapist (Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Therapist), current to practice in the state
Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)- Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of patient information. Must be proficient with Windows-style applications and keyboard.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process
