Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our President, you will provide comprehensive operational leadership for your specific entity. Your primary responsibility will be to meticulously execute the system's strategic vision within your defined domain, translating overarching organizational goals into actionable, localized plans. You will be fully accountable for the operational and financial performance of your area, encompassing day-to-day management, budget oversight, and the leadership of all local staff, while reporting directly to a higher-level executive within the system.Every day you will lead your teams in the effective management of resources, including personnel, budget, and facilities, ensuring optimal utilization to meet operational targets and deliver high-quality patient care. You will actively engage with community stakeholders, local leaders, and patient populations, solidifying our presence and building strong relationships within the local community. Furthermore, you will continuously monitor performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, patient satisfaction, and financial health within your purview, always aligning with our mission and values.To be successful in this role, you will possess a proven track record of exemplary operational leadership and financial stewardship within a complex healthcare environment. You will be adept at fostering strong community relationships, translating system-wide strategies into local action, and driving results through effective resource utilization and team empowerment. Scope Highlights: 

  • Community Relations: Boards; local, county and, in some instances, state government; other health agencies
  • Partners, regional and national expertise and vendors
  • Clinical continuum of Care
  • Matrix Relationships
  • Optimizes Quality, Safety, and the Patient Experience in Partnership with Physicians
  • Takes a lead role in collaboratively setting and achieving annual quality targets for the facility that support system-wide targets and metrics.
  • Champions patient experience initiatives ensuring the delivery system works as a team in delivering excellent care.
  • Leverages quality oversight mechanisms, such as use of data and rounding, to ensure patients receive the highest quality care.
  • Effectively integrates local health delivery system, facility and community wellness metrics.
  • Engages employed and partner physicians in continuously improving quality and achieving standardization.
  • Conducts quarterly reviews of the extent to which the facility (facilities) is meeting system-wide quality and patient care standards and initiates continuous improvement in partnership with administrative and clinical staff.
  • Optimizes Clinical Operations and Delivers Value to the Community
  • Serves as a key integrator in how the continuum of care effectively provides high quality care for patients leveraging the best value point and level of care.
  • Focuses on wellness management to reduce costs downstream in the continuum of care.
  • Plays a key role in physician practice management. Engages physicians in continuum of care.

 

Job Requirements

  • M.H.A., M.B.A., or M.S. in healthcare administration, business administration, public health administration or a related field
