What You9ll Be Doing: The
Hospital RN Director of Nursing works in concert with the Chief Clinical Officer and directs the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care per current Federal, State, and facilities standards, guidelines, and regulations. In the absence of the Chief Clinical Officer, assumes the responsibility for center operations. The
Hospital RN Director of Nursing conducts the nursing process - assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation - under the State9s Nurse Practice Act of Registered Nurse licensure scope.
Requirements: Education: Bachelor9s Degree in Nursing preferred.
Licenses/Certification: Currently licensed as RN in this state.
Experience: Five years in long-term or acute health care preferred; At least 2 years nursing supervisory experience required.
