Lead, Build, and Grow

We are seeking an experienced Hospice RN Executive Director to lead the launch and growth of a startup branch. This leadership role is ideal for a dynamic healthcare professional who thrives in building operations, developing high-performing teams, driving business growth, and ensuring exceptional patient care and regulatory compliance.

As the Executive Director, you will oversee all aspects of branch operations, including clinical and business performance, staffing, compliance, strategic planning, and community partnerships. This is a unique opportunity to establish a strong market presence while creating a culture of excellence and accountability.

What You'll Do

Leadership & Operations
  • Maintain positive internal and external customer service relationships.
  • Direct and manage agency operations through effective delegation to administrative and supervisory personnel according to their roles, responsibilities, and capabilities.
  • Monitor and evaluate program administration, planning processes, staffing, and overall operational performance.
  • Drive branch growth and establish operational excellence in a startup environment.
  • Collaborate with the Vice President of Operations to achieve strategic and financial objectives.

Compliance & Quality
  • Ensure day-to-day compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and reimbursement requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee administrative policies and procedures.
  • Monitor quality outcomes and implement process improvements to enhance organizational performance.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, compliance, and patient-centered care.

Talent Management
  • Establish job functions, responsibilities, and qualification requirements for all personnel.
  • Assess staffing needs and develop efficient staffing models that maximize workforce utilization.
  • Collaborate with the Vice President of Operations to authorize and approve staffing appointments.
  • Oversee compliance with personnel policies, employee development, and performance management initiatives.

Community & Business Development
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners, referral sources, and healthcare providers.
  • Negotiate and execute provider and service contracts while ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Represent the organization within the community and support market growth initiatives.

Qualifications

Required
  • Minimum Associate Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of related healthcare leadership experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory or administrative experience in a hospice or home health setting.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare program administration, regulatory requirements, reimbursement practices, and operational management.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of current automobile insurance.

Preferred
  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program.
  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license.
  • Experience leading a startup operation, branch expansion, or significant growth initiative.
  • Demonstrated success in team leadership, operational oversight, and business development.
