Qualifications

• RN licensure in applicable states; Bachelor's in Nursing preferred.
• 3+ years management experience, with 2+ years in clinical nursing, specifically hospice services.
• In-depth knowledge of Hospice and Palliative Care regulations and guidelines.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Understanding of financial management principles specific to hospice services.
• Data analysis skills for clinical improvement and cost reduction.
• Proficient in various computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Willingness to travel extensively (70% travel, 30% office) and be CPR certified.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
• Evaluate office operations using financial and clinical reports.
• Develop work plans to enhance office performance with the Operations Manager and Patient Care Coordinators.
• Design mentorship and training programs for Hospice Care Managers alongside the Staff Development Department.
• Coordinate planning and monitoring of new and ongoing hospice services.
• Assist the Vice President of Home Care and Hospice Services.
• Collaborate with Clinical Directors for Homecare on operational goals.
