Trustbridge Hospice, a member of
Empath Health, is seeking a full-time
Associate Medical Director to provide medical oversight and leadership for hospice patients and their families across Palm Beach County. The Associate Medical Director will support both home-based and facility care, overseeing two interdisciplinary teams and two inpatient units (IPUs) located in Jupiter and Palm Beach Gardens. This role blends clinical care and leadership responsibilities, working closely with care teams to deliver high-quality, compassionate end-of-life care.

What you'll Do:
- Provide medical direction for hospice patients, including care planning, symptom and pain management, and collaboration with attending physicians.
- Serve as a clinical resource and educator for staff, patients, families, and community physicians on hospice, palliative care, and end-of-life issues.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team (IDG) meetings and work collaboratively to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Conduct patient assessments, clinical visits (home, inpatient, and telehealth), and documentation to support eligibility, recertification, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure adherence to all legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards while supporting ethical practices, community outreach, and hospice admissions.

What You'll Need:
- MD or DO degree form an accredited medical school board certified in a related specialty
- Current Florida license to practice medicine pursuant to Florida Statue 458 or 459
- Minimum 2 years recent active practice and direct medical care experience
- Certification in hospice and palliative medicine strongly preferred
- Hospital staff privileges at one or more hospitals
- Current federal DEA registration
- Valid CPR Certification required if patient facing
