Full Job Description
Position Overview
  • Provide specialized high school mathematics instruction to students with disabilities, adapting curriculum and instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), including measurable goals, accommodations, and appropriate instructional supports.
  • Track student progress and provide timely progress monitoring and reporting to inform instructional decisions and support student growth.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student achievement and successful participation in the school environment.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • DESE Certification as a 5-12 Special Education Teacher OR a Master's degree in Special Education
  • Experience teaching mathematics to students with disabilities, including IEP development and progress monitoring/reporting; dual certification or demonstrated expertise in Math is strongly preferred
