Position Overview:
  • Provide specialized instruction and individualized support to high school students in both general education classrooms through co-teaching and in small-group or individualized settings based on student needs.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
  • Deliver targeted instruction in areas such as social-emotional and behavioral skills, reading, and mathematics while adapting curriculum and accommodations to meet individual learning needs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, monitor student progress, and ensure compliance with special education requirements and educational best practices.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
  • Valid Maryland Special Education Teaching Certification
  • Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs and implementing IEPs preferred
