PRIORITIES OF THE ROLE:
? Strategic planning & long-term vision setting
? Improving graduation & on-time completion rates
? Reducing chronic absenteeism through proactive engagement
? Restorative, equity-centered approaches to discipline & reducing suspensions
? Instructional leadership, staff supervision & evaluation
? Budget, operations & school climate
WE'RE SEEKING SOMEONE WHO:- Has a track record of improving graduation outcomes and student
engagement - Leads with data - turning attendance and discipline trends into
action - Believes in restorative, relationship-based approaches over punitive
ones - Builds trust across students, staff, families, and community partners
- Thinks strategically and can lead a school through multi-year
change - Communicates with clarity, warmth, and transparency
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Maine Principal Certification (alternative-pathway candidates must complete a Master's within five years)
• Master's Degree in or related to Educational Leadership
• Successful experience in educational leadership, school administration, and/or supervision preferred
• Successful teaching experience
