Description
Psychiatrist (MD/DO)Employment Type: W-2 Full-Time, W-2 Part-Time, or 1099 opportunities available (varies by practice)
Schedule: Varies by practice (some opportunities may include evenings/weekends)
Location: In-person, hybrid, or remote within applicable states.
Psychiatrists at our partner practices provide high-quality comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, TMS services (if applicable), and ongoing treatment in an outpatient setting, working within a collaborative, patient-centered care model. Success in this role is demonstrated through safe prescribing practices, strong patient engagement, and close collaboration with therapy and interdisciplinary clinical teams.

Psychiatrist Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients in the outpatient setting.
- Provide medication management and therapy to a diverse patient population.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Stay current with advancements in psychiatric treatment and research methodologies.
- Make referrals for psychotherapy when indicated and collaborate with all other mental health professionals involved in the patient's care to ensure comprehensive treatment.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records completely all documentation in compliance with legal/ethical standards.
- Advocate for clients' needs and rights, including access to psychiatric services and medications.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements- Active, unrestricted medical license in state applied to, or willing to obtain
- Board-Certified Psychiatrist (MD/DO) (or Board Prepared if within 5 years of completing residency or fellowship)
- Possess and maintain a valid Drug Enforcement Administration ("DEA") number and all other licenses and certificates that may be lawfully required to prescribe medications, including controlled substances.
- Strong understanding of psychiatrist assessment, diagnosis, medication management, and therapeutic techniques
- Knowledge of evidence-based interventions in psychiatric treatment
