Job Description:HEDIS Business Information Developer Consultant SeniorLocation: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Ideal candidates will be able to report to one of our Pulse Point locations in Indianapolis, IN, Lake Mary, FL or St. Louis, MO. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.

The
HEDIS Business Information Developer Consultant Senior supports the data quality review process for HEDIS inputs/outputs to ensure accuracy and completeness and identify areas of opportunity. Viewed as an expert in the development and execution of data mining analyses, data integration, data transformation and mapping.
How You Will Make an Impact:- Undertakes complex assignments requiring additional specialized technical knowledge.
- Develops data quality metrics and standards for different types of data to ensure that it is high quality and error-free.
- Develops and supports very complex Data Warehouse-related applications for business areas requiring design and implementation of database tables.
- Establishes and communicates common goals and direction for the team.
- Establishes and maintains advanced knowledge of data warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, and data integrity issues.
- Analyzes data and identifies trends and patterns; creates reports that illustrate data findings.
- Acts as a source of direction, training and guidance for less experienced staff.
- Communicates insights and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Executes high quality testing in accordance with the developed test scripts, documents and escalates defects based on preliminary reporting and analysis of results.
- Ensures defects are resolved through unit acceptance testing.
- Monitors project schedules and costs for own and other projects.
- Conducts training on the use of applications developed.
Minimum Requirements:- Requires a BS/BA degree; minimum of 6 years experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:- Skilled in System Integration Testing (SIT) and Unit Acceptance Testing (UAT) highly preferred.
- Health care data mapping and transformation expertise highly preferred.
- Knowledge and use of HEDIS software applications and Vendor Data Management highly preferred.
- Expert knowledge of NCQA, CMS, State Medicaid Reporting, HEDIS Technical Specifications and HEDIS Audit Guidelines highly preferred.
- Expert level PC, spreadsheet, and database skills, as well as experience in standard Business Information tools and programming/query languages preferred.
- Ability to organize data, interpret and present findings clearly and concisely preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with multiple levels within the organization preferred.
