DutiesHelp
- Identify, develop, evaluate, and recommend options to resolve command issues.
- Provide expertise in extracting data from a wide variety of medical and financial databases and other sources in support of command projects.
- Work with command executive staff to provide continual assessments of operational effectiveness and promote data integrity and quality.
- Analyze information to provide senior management with an ongoing measure of organizational effectiveness.
- Management analyst for assigned Directorates and Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) within the command.
- Develop constructive recommendations to solve significant management problems.
- Establish methodologies to identify, collect, compile, organize, analyze, interpret, track, and present workload, cost, and other pertinent medical and dental data and information.
- This position requires Basic Life Support training certification from, or in accordance with, the American Heart Association and American Red Cross.

QualificationsWho May Apply: US CitizensIn order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service, which includes analyzing and evaluating complex medical and financial workload data to develop performance metrics, improve operational efficiency, and support the strategic planning of healthcare programs.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service
(GS-11).Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience aloneno substitution of education for experience is permitted.
