ResponsibilitiesHealth & Safety Manager - Raritan & Northern NJThis position will be based primarily in Raritan, NJ and will oversee safety performance for a major ground-up construction project while also supporting additional construction projects throughout Northern New Jersey.
Projects involve multiple subcontractors and a variety of construction activities including excavation, trenching, crane operations, concrete placement, mechanical installation, and electrical work.
- Provide daily construction safety oversight and support
- Conduct site audits, inspections, and safety assessments
- Monitor contractor compliance with OSHA and site-specific requirements
- Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and orientations as needed
- Track corrective actions and follow up on safety observations
- Review high-risk activities and work plans
- Prepare reports and communicate findings to project leadership
- Promote a strong safety culture among project teams and subcontractors
Qualifications- Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience
- Experience supporting multi-employer construction projects
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA construction standards
- Experience with excavation, cranes, concrete, mechanical, and electrical work
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- CHST preferred
- Additional construction safety certifications strongly desired
Additional Information- Long-term construction program with projects expected to continue for approximately two years
- Primary assignment in Raritan, NJ

Pay Range$90,000-110,000
