Full Job Description
Position: HS&E Manager Location: Ingersoll ON

Overall Responsibility
Responsible for providing health, safety, environmental and human resources support to the Woodstock facility. Ensure compliance with all programs as outlined in company policies and legislation. Work with the team to maintain a high culture of safety.
Health, Safety & Environmental
Assist in the maintenance of written HSE programs and procedures to ensure compliance with legal regulations, ArcelorMittal standards and ISO 14001 standards.
Identify, coordinate and conduct training to ensure compliance as outlined in AMTB's HSE training needs analysis.
Conduct internal audits for compliance of all AMTB's HSE procedures. Assist in the development and tracking of action plans to address issues.
Facilitate and participate in accident/incident investigations including problem solving and validation of action items identified to prevent reoccurrences. Monitor and follow up on action items with relevant teams.
Co-lead Joint Health & Safety Committee meetings and maintain as per HSE standard.
Conduct HSE orientation with all new employees.
Maintain document management using IQS to meet compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
Facilitate and track closures of NCR's related to HSE for internal and external audits.
Liaise with vendors on PPE and environmental supplies.
Responsible for the management of WSIB claims and lead return to work activities.
Manager the Fastenal PPE program to ensure full stock at all times.
Responsible for completion of daily safety audit and reporting until closure of all issues
Coordinating completion of Risk Assessments, PDCA etc.
Monitor and update company communications on the company bulletin boards and TV system (Yodeck).
Maintain confidentiality and trust through positive employee relations.
Provide timely responses to the needs and questions of employees.
Assist in creating a culture of safety and fair treatment and positive employee relations.
Remain current with legislative requirements & compliance.
Administer the employee safety allowance system (safety shoes, prescription safety glasses).
Other
Fulfill all Health and Safety & Environmental responsibilities as identified in the Canadian HSE Management Standards, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 Management Systems.
Ensure QMS conforms to the requirements identified in IATF 16949 and AMTB Process Map.
Fulfill all responsibilities as identified in the Employee Handbook.
Other duties as assigned.
