Full Job Description
A Snapshot of Your Day

As the Head of Technical Services and Quality, you will lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for manufacturing process development, quality management, continuous improvement, and engineering support for Generator Operations in Charlotte. Your day will involve collaborating with manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, quality, and commercial teams to drive new product introductions, service repair solutions, capital investment projects, and operational excellence initiatives. You will provide strategic leadership for quality, manufacturing development, and technology advancement while ensuring customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and achievement of business performance goals. You will also partner with global Siemens Energy manufacturing sites to share best practices and deploy innovative manufacturing technologies.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Lead the Technical Services and Quality organization, driving manufacturing development, quality excellence, continuous improvement initiatives, and operational support across Generator Operations.
  • Oversee implementation of new manufacturing processes, tooling, capital investment projects, and technology deployments while supporting product development and service repair concepts.
  • Develop manufacturing feasibility studies, ROI analyses, cost models, and business cases to support strategic investments and operational decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, audit requirements, non-conformance management, customer complaint resolution, product safety requirements, and risk management methodologies.
  • Drive Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, process optimization, and best-practice sharing across the global Generator manufacturing network to improve productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop engineering, quality, and supervisory teams while fostering cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing, maintenance, accounting, R&D, supply chain, and customer-facing organizations.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, manufacturing engineering, quality management, continuous improvement, or a related industrial environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and implementing manufacturing process improvements, quality systems, and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, 8D problem solving, risk management, and quality management systems.
  • Experience developing capital investment proposals, manufacturing cost analyses, ROI assessments, production planning strategies, and business process improvements. Familiarity with SAP and manufacturing execution systems is preferred.
