Job Overview

The Head of Supply Chain is responsible for leading UNRL's end-to-end global supply chain, ensuring products are sourced, produced, and delivered efficiently while achieving exceptional quality, service, and profitability.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this leader oversees sourcing, production, factory management, quality, logistics, fulfillment, and third-party logistics (3PL) operations. The Head of Supply Chain partners closely with Inventory Planning, Product, Finance, Sales, and Marketing teams to balance demand, supply, inventory investment, and customer service.

This role is responsible for building the scalable supply chain, strategic partnerships, and operating systems that support UNRL's continued growth and create a sustainable competitive advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Lead UNRL's end-to-end supply chain, including sourcing, production, factory management, quality assurance, logistics, fulfillment, and third-party logistics operations.
  • Develop and execute the company's supply chain strategy, building scalable processes, operating rhythms, KPIs, and systems that support long-term growth and operational excellence.
  • Develop strategic supplier, factory, and logistics partnerships that improve quality, service, cost, capacity, and scalability while reducing supply chain risk.
  • Own production execution and commercialization timelines, proactively identifying and resolving supply, capacity, quality, and delivery risks to ensure successful product launches.
  • Drive operational and financial performance by improving landed cost, freight efficiency, inventory flow, and overall supply chain productivity.
  • Establish and maintain quality standards across suppliers, factories, and fulfillment operations to ensure consistent product quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Inventory Planning, Product, Finance, Sales, and Operations to balance demand, supply, inventory investment, and customer commitments.
  • Build, coach, and develop a high-performing supply chain organization with a culture of accountability, collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish performance metrics and governance using KPIs, scorecards, and business reviews to improve visibility, accountability, and decision-making.
  • Serve as the organizational owner of supply chain performance, providing strategic recommendations that support profitable growth and strengthen UNRL's competitive advantage.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, sourcing, production, logistics, or operations within an apparel, consumer products, or related industry.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience building, developing, and leading high-performing supply chain or operations teams.
  • Demonstrated success managing global sourcing, factory relationships, supplier performance, and outsourced manufacturing operations.
  • Experience managing third-party logistics (3PL) providers, transportation partners, and global supply networks.
  • Proven ability to build scalable supply chain processes and improve operational performance in a high-growth environment.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and partnering effectively with Product, Merchandise Planning, Finance, Sales, and Commercial Operations.
  • Demonstrated success driving operational improvements in cost, quality, service, and supplier performance.

Technical Expertise

  • Deep understanding of global sourcing, supplier management, factory operations, production planning, quality assurance, logistics, fulfillment, and third-party logistics (3PL) management.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing landed cost, freight, supplier costing, operational budgets, and supply chain cost optimization.
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate operational data into actionable business recommendations and drive continuous improvement.
  • Experience with ERP, supply chain planning, warehouse management, transportation management, and business intelligence systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience developing dashboards, KPIs, supplier scorecards, and executive reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting a high-growth omnichannel apparel, footwear, or consumer products brand.
  • Experience leading supply chain transformation, organizational scaling, or systems implementation initiatives.
  • Experience managing global sourcing partners across multiple countries and regions.
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • MBA, APICS (CSCP/CPIM), Lean, or Six Sigma certification preferred.
