The mission of Anduril's Air Dominance and Strike Division is to fundamentally reshape the way future peer to peer conflicts are fought by developing next generation collaborative combat aircraft, advanced effects, and the software that powers these autonomous weapons. As the Head of Operations, you'll be responsible for the full operational scope of the one of our business lines from business operations to production and sustainment infrastructure, partnering closely with the General Manager as well as Functional leaders. You will own the operational engine that enables our business to scale through hypergrowth and into its next chapter: IPO readiness, production at volume, fielded system sustainment, and the organizational evolution required to support it all.
Here's what you'll do:
- Own all aspects of business line business operations and infrastructure, ensuring business development, engineering, and production teams have what they need when they need it to execute
- Serve as the business line General Manager's chief strategist to balance resource and execution risk against our massive growth plans, regularly monitoring financials to help guide us toward our profitability targets
- Translate growth signals into demand across all operational infrastructure including staffing, real estate, test ranges, classified infrastructure, and production and collaborate with cross-functional partners across Anduril to deliver
- Own the business line's governance structure from business reviews to annual planning and employee onboarding to all hands, developing and evolving information pathways as the organization scales
- Collaborate closely with division leadership to evolve the organizational structure and define and implement strong hiring, onboarding, and execution standards for key functions so we maintain a culture of "doing things differently"
- Execute on special projects, evolve internal processes, spearhead the stand up of new functions, and lead M&A efforts as needed

- You have experience with hardware production scaling through fielding, including rigorous metrics monitoring, problem identification, and resolution
- You have deep financial acumen including unit economics, manufacturing finance, and P&L management
- You're operationally rigorous with a bias toward discipline, efficiency, and management via metrics
- You have a proven ability to evolve organizations, coach senior leaders, and make hard talent calls
- You're have the ability to move between 30,000 ft and tactical, getting into the weeds when necessary
- Must be eligible to hold a US Top Secret clearance
US Salary Range
$220,000-$336,000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
