Qualifications

• 5+ years of process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment; cutting tool manufacturing preferred.
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong knowledge in process management and improvement in manufacturing settings.
• Lean and Six Sigma black belt certification required.
• Effective communication skills and ability to build relationships across teams.
• Experience with multi-site project management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee a Lean Manufacturing System across production sites, incorporating Six Sigma methodologies.
• Design plant layouts to improve throughput and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
• Identify and implement synergies in manufacturing, technology, and logistics across multiple sites.
• Manage cross-leveling and capacity balancing initiatives to address bottlenecks in production.
• Analyze production issues and support managers in problem-solving efforts.
• Create operational plans that align with company goals and strategies.
• Compile and present performance reports to executive management.
• Improve safety records by addressing safety issues and promoting employee safety awareness.
