We are looking for a Head of People Operations to help us to develop the organization and human capital to mobilize and sustain the company's strategies.
The Head of People operation provides leadership, direction, and guidance for strategic initiatives and performs day-to-day activities to guarantee that the company establishes HR policies and talent management practices that foster a culture of performance around the strategy.
The ideal candidate for this position has clarity about People Operations concepts, the ability to deal with litigation, and a strategic mindset. The professional needs to have a robust knowledge of performance management, leadership development, and culture transformation.
You should be highly analytical, possess planning and organizational skills, and stand out in communication to engage MDCer's and enhance performance.

What would you be doing?
- Talent Strategy: Design and implement HR strategies that align with MDC's mission and long-term goals.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Lead efforts to attract, hire, and retain top talent while ensuring an excellent onboarding experience.
- Employee Engagement: Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and recognition to maximize employee satisfaction and retention.
- Performance Management: Develop and oversee systems for performance evaluations, goal setting, and career development.
- Training & Development: Create programs that strengthen employee skills, leadership readiness, and organizational capability.
- Compensation & Benefits: Manage competitive and compliant pay structures, benefits, and rewards.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to labor laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Employee Relations: Act as a trusted resource for managers and employees on conflict resolution, workplace issues, and policy interpretation.
- Organizational Development: Support workforce planning, succession management, and change management initiatives.
- Culture Building: Partner with leadership to sustain an inclusive, engaging, and high-performance workplace culture.
- Facilitates professional development, training, and certification activities.
- Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master's or MBA degree preferred.
- SHRM or HRCI is a plus
Technical skills
- Bilingual - English and Spanish required.
- 8-10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably within technology, telecom, or data center industries.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
- Proven track record in talent management, organizational development, and employee engagement.
- Excellent project management, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion, and influence at all levels.
