Role Overview:

We are seeking a hands-on, data-driven commercial builder to lead our US business through its next phase of revenue growth. As Head of US Commercial Growth, you will build the end-to-end commercial system and patient journey; from qualified lead and clinical evaluation through authorization, order, delivery, billing, collection, aftercare and retention. Your headline mandate is to build and grow annual US revenue, while improving patient experience, pipeline velocity, cash conversion, and margin.

You will directly lead our Regional Managers and Clinical Partnership Manager, and you will closely work with the customer service and insurance/billing support teams. You will be accountable for a distributed team of (initially) 12 Certified Prosthetist Orthotists (CPOs) with 2 regional managers, expected to grow over the coming years. You will establish a rigorous daily operating rhythm, remove blockers, turn the behaviors of our strongest performers into repeatable playbooks, and coach the broader team to consistently deliver high performance. You will know how to coach people into being their best.

We anticipate you will usher in changes to help this organization scale. You will be an enthusiastic builder of sales systems and processes with a keen desire to be hands-on.

You will build and maintain relationships with key third-party partners such as distributors, key customer accounts and key suppliers. You will work closely with the Clinical Partnerships Manager to grow our B2B operation.

This role combines commercial leadership, multi-site healthcare operations, revenue-cycle management, people development, and strategic expansion. You will be a close partner to Marketing, Finance, Operations, Production, and the CEO, and you will lead by doing in a fast-moving scale-up environment.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • US annual revenue growth, with delivery against monthly and quarterly plan.
  • Excellent collaboration with the Director of Clinical Operations to deliver outstanding patient outcomes.
  • Patient experience, including lead response time, time to appointment, time to delivery, and satisfaction.
  • End-to-end conversion rates at each stage of the lead, clinical, authorization, order, delivery, and collection pipeline.
  • Pipeline velocity, time in stage, volume and value of aged opportunities, forecast accuracy.
  • Clinical team productivity and consistency, including orders and revenue per CPO, capacity utilization, overall conversion rate from lead to order.
  • Revenue-cycle performance, including authorization turnaround, clean-claim rate, denial and appeal rates, days sales outstanding, and cash collected.
  • Gross margin improvement without compromising speed of payment or cash flow.
  • Successful opening and ramp-up of new clinics, including location performance and recruitment of high-quality clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commercial Ownership and Operating Cadence: Own the US commercial plan, translate annual targets into regional, clinic, team, and individual goals, and run a disciplined daily and weekly cadence that keeps priorities, actions, and accountability visible.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain a detailed, accurate view of every material opportunity and patient case. Identify stalled opportunities, assign clear actions, remove blockers, and accelerate cases through the pipeline without compromising clinical quality or patient trust.
  • Patient Journey: Design and continuously improve the end-to-end patient journey, with clear ownership and service standards at every handoff from lead qualification through clinical care, fulfillment, billing, collection, and aftercare.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Directly manage and coach 3-4 Regional Managers as the organization grows, and lead the wider distributed team of CPOs through them. Set clear expectations, build strong management routines, address performance gaps quickly, and develop future leaders. Set performance and bonus targets across the team.
  • Performance Excellence: Analyze the habits, activities, and case-management practices of top-performing team members; quantify the behaviors that drive results; turn them into practical playbooks and training; and measure adoption and impact across the team.
  • Data, Forecasting and Decision Support: Use CRM, sales, clinical, billing, and operational data to diagnose performance, forecast outcomes, prioritize interventions, and make evidence-based recommendations to the leadership team.
  • Marketing Alignment: Partner closely with Marketing to define lead-quality standards, improve qualification and routing, strengthen feedback loops, and increase conversion rates while reducing time from inquiry to clinical action.
  • Revenue-Cycle Management Alignment: Partner with the Director of Clinical Ops to lead the insurance, authorization, billing, collections, denial-management, and appeal processes. Improve clean claims, reduce avoidable delays and write-offs, shorten time to cash, and build reliable reporting and controls.
  • Billing and Margin Alignment: Partner with the Director of Clinical Ops to manage relationships with billing partners and insurance providers, and balance margin improvement with payer risk, compliance, working capital, and speed of payment.
  • Clinic Network Strategy: Help determine where and when to open new clinics using demand, referral, payer, talent, access, competitive, and unit-economic data. Build launch plans and hold new locations accountable for ramp milestones.
  • Clinical Recruitment and Capacity: Partner with People and clinical leaders to recruit, onboard, retain, and deploy outstanding CPOs, ensuring capacity is added ahead of demand and new hires reach productivity quickly.
  • Cross-Functional Execution: Work closely with Marketing, Finance, Operations, Production, Clinical Quality, and executive leadership to resolve systemic blockers and align demand, capacity, delivery, cash, and growth.

Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of progressive commercial or operations leadership experience, including significant responsibility in multi-site healthcare, medical devices, prosthetics and orthotics, or another complex patient-service environment.
  • You will have experience managing a revenue operation of around 12 clinics and rapidly scaling beyond that.
  • You have achieved an annual growth rate over 50% for a fast growing clinical services and or medical device business or equivalent.
  • You will have hands-on revenue growth experience, not merely managing a sales team or a revenue generating operation.
  • Proven success leading managers and geographically distributed clinical, sales, or service teams through rapid growth.
  • A strong record of delivering ambitious revenue targets by improving conversion, pipeline velocity, team productivity, and operating discipline.
  • Hands-on sales experience.
  • Hands-on knowledge of US healthcare revenue-cycle management, including benefits verification, prior authorization, payer documentation, claims, denials, appeals, collections, and cash-flow management.
  • Exceptional analytical ability and fluency with CRM, pipeline, financial, and operational data; able to move from data to insight, decision, action, and measurable result.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify successful behaviors, codify them into repeatable processes, train teams, and manage performance against objective standards.
  • Experience partnering with Marketing to improve lead quality, funnel conversion, handoffs, and customer acquisition economics.
  • Strong judgment in balancing growth, clinical quality, patient experience, compliance, margin, and cash.
  • Experience opening or scaling clinics, branches, or other multi-site service locations and recruiting high-performing clinical or specialist staff.
  • Excellent data evaluation and experience using data to make strategic commercial decisions.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and change-leadership skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively and create accountability at every level.
  • Entrepreneurial, resilient, and highly execution-oriented, with a strong bias for action and comfort operating in a scale-up environment.
  • Willingness to travel regularly across the USA, expected to be approximately up to 20% - 30% depending on business needs.
  • Experience in US prosthetics and orthotics is highly desirable; a bachelor's degree is required, with an MBA, MHA, or equivalent advanced qualification / experience preferred.
  • Fluency with Codex (or similar) is preferred, day-to-day use of AI for producing, reporting, forecasting, modelling, and analytics is encouraged.

  • 401(k) plan with company match up to 3% of qualifying earnings
