Full Job Description
This Director position seeks a visionary and experienced technology leader to define and execute the strategic direction for the Advisors, Branch and broader front office desktop needs within retail banking & wealth management. The role involves leading a global team to deliver, enhance, and manage technology platforms that support client-facing teams, drive business growth, and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership & Vision: Develop and own the multi-year technology strategy for Workstation, including CRM and practice management, aligning with business goals, championing innovation, and driving platform adoption.
  • Platform Ownership & Delivery: Oversee the entire SDLC for associated applications, ensuring stability, scalability, and security.
  • Stakeholder Partnership: Act as the primary technology partner to senior business leaders, translating objectives into a scalable technology roadmap and delivering measurable value.
  • Team Management & Development: Lead, mentor, and grow a global team of product managers, software engineers, and business analysts, fostering excellence and collaboration.
  • Data & Analytics Strategy: Ensure the platform serves as a central source of truth for client data, driving advanced analytics, reporting dashboards, and AI-driven insights.
  • System Integration: Architect and manage seamless integration with other enterprise systems (e.g., marketing automation, data warehouses, core banking platforms).
  • Vendor & Financial Management: Manage relationships with key technology vendors (e.g., Salesforce) and oversee the budget, forecasting, and financial planning for the technology portfolio.
  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure all solutions adhere to strict enterprise-wide standards for data privacy, information security, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:
  • Experience:
    • 15 years in a senior technology leadership role.
    • 5 years hands-on experience with enterprise-scale front office & CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics).
    • Proven track record leading large, globally distributed technology teams.
    • Significant experience within the financial services industry (Investment Banking, Wealth Management, Corporate Banking).
  • Skills:
    • Expert-level knowledge of front office architecture, data models, and best practices.
    • Ability to partner with and influence senior business executives.
    • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficiency in Agile and DevOps methodologies.
    • Strong financial acumen and experience managing significant budgets.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or MBA.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, Application Architect).
  • Experience leading large-scale digital transformation projects in complex, regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML applications within a CRM context (e.g., predictive analytics, lead scoring).
