Job Description:
Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Head of EIC Leadership Development Programs to be located in New Brunswick, NJ United States.

The Head of EIC Leadership Development Programs plays an important role in advancing this by leading the strategy, design, and delivery within our early-in-career leadership development program portfolio.
This role is responsible for building a best-in-class ecosystem of leadership development programs that attract, develop, and accelerate high-potential talent to become future enterprise leaders. The Head of EIC Leadership Development Programs partners across Human Resources and the business to ensure programs are aligned to enterprise talent priorities, deliver differentiated development experiences, and strengthen leadership pipelines across Johnson & Johnson, with direct responsibility for the Human Resources Leadership Development Program (HRLDP) and Veteran Leadership Development Program (VLDP).
Key Responsibilities
Set Strategy and Direction
- Define and evolve the vision and strategy for the EIC Leadership Development Program portfolio (including HRLDP, VLDP, and broader LDP federation/ecosystem) to support enterprise talent priorities and long-term workforce needs
- Create HRLDP program strategy in alignment with Johnson & Johnson’s HR talent strategy, capability needs, and future-of-work, aligned to HR2030
- Continuously assess internal outcomes and external trends to evolve program to drive impact
Lead End-to-End Program Management
- Own the full lifecycle of HRLDP and VLDP, including recruiting, selection, rotations, development, and final placement
- Ensure a seamless, high-quality experience across key program moments (onboarding, rotations, development journey, and graduation)
- Partner with HR and business leaders to provide meaningful, high-impact rotations that accelerate readiness and capability building
- Oversee global program operations, governance, and execution with a focus on consistency and excellence
Build Strong Talent Pipelines
- Ensure development experiences build critical capabilities and prepare talent for future leadership roles
- Lead final placement processes to match individual aspirations with business needs, ensuring strong talent outcomes and retention
Drive Stakeholder Engagement and Sponsorship
- Build strong partnerships with senior HR leaders, business leaders, and the HR Executive Committee to ensure sponsorship and advocacy
Leverage Data and Insights
- Analyze leading and lagging indicators (e.g., performance, potential, retention, placement outcomes) to inform decisions and continuously improve
- Use data to strengthen program effectiveness, demonstrate impact, and guide strategic priorities
Lead Team
- Provide feedback, coach and advise team to deliver outcomes
- Help team members grow and develop to realize their full potential
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 10+ years relevant business experience
- Minimum 5 years in leadership development or learning space (i.e., Instructional Design, Talent Management, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition)
- Experience gathering /shaping business requirements and defining how early talent development can strengthen succession pipelines
- Launching learning and development offerings and evaluating effectiveness via metrics strategy
- Experience leading and implementing large projects with internal and external partners
- Proven track record understanding business strategy, impacting change and actively engaging teams of professionals including those from various functions in and outside the US

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$150,000.00 - $258,750.00
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days
Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year
Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
