Job DescriptionYou will be the Harness Design Engineer - Level 6 for the F-35 Program which is responsible for delivering advanced electrical harness solutions for the F-35 aircraft.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Harness Design Engineer - Level 6 you will be responsible for developing and integrating electrical harness and interconnect designs that meet rigorous program requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:- Integrate all aspects of electrical systems, including design, coordination, project management, and supplier management.
- Provide direct liaison engineering and MRB support to Production and Supply Chain.
- Review and disposition PR and ESPaR requests.
- Support sustainment AR requests.
- Lead technical discussions in program-level meetings to meet requirements.

Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 12 years or more experience with Wire Harness Design and/or Wire Harness Design Leadership
- Experience with integrating with Aircraft Wire Harness Suppliers
Desired skills- Experience interacting with customers and senior management
- Experience with performing technical design checks/reviews
- Familiarity with LM Aero tools and databases; these include but are not limited to PDM, JEDI, Capital

National Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $144,600 - $255,070. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
