What you'll do- Manage and track quality of production units.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including customer support, hardware, software, manufacturing, and suppliers to identify and resolve quality issues and risks.
- Interface with customer support team to debug and gather information on failed units at customer sites.
- Work with hardware and software team to perform failure analysis on failed units. Route failed units to external suppliers if necessary.
- Track and close RMA cases.
- Provide failure analysis report.
- Enhance or develop corrective actions.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field. MS is a plus.
- Minimum of 10+ year experience in failure analysis and quality.
- Demonstrate ability to debug, test systems, and track hardware failure processing for resolution.
- Experience in PCBA manufacturing, electro-mechanical assembly, and associated processes.
- Foundational knowledge in quality and reliability performance metrics.
- Experience in Quality Engineering in high-tech manufacturing (preferably networking equipment) and working with contract manufacturing partners.
- Experience collaborating with teams and cross functional with engineering groups.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to details.
Compensation InformationThe new hire base pay for this role has a salary range of $145,000 to $180,000. Arista offers different pay ranges based on work location, so that we can offer consistent and competitive pay appropriate to the market. The actual base pay offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, relevant experience, and work location. The pay range provided reflects base pay only and in addition certain roles may also be eligible for discretionary Arista bonuses and equity. Employees in Sales roles are eligible to participate in Arista's Sales Incentive Plan, which pays commissions calculated as a percentage of eligible sales. US-based employees are also entitled to benefits including medical, dental, vision, wellbeing, tax savings and income protection.
