Full Job Description

The CI Leader executes CI strategy within North America, translating global standards into actionable plans. This role leads a regional CI team, manages governance processes, and partners with leadership to embed CI behaviors and deliver measurable business impact. Key responsibilities include prioritizing initiatives, ensuring alignment with global objectives, and driving improvements in cost, quality, reliability, and efficiency. The Regional Leader fosters collaboration across functions, supports capability development, and champions cultural transformation to sustain continuous improvement as a core business practice.

This is a hybrid role: Remote Monday and Friday; onsite Tuesday–Thursday.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead regional CI teams and consultants to execute initiatives of varying complexity. Support global projects and share best practices across regions. Partner with regional leaders to identify key opportunities and approaches for improvement.
  • Lead LMS implementation and sustainment within region. Ensure alignment with global standards and drive maturity through coaching and audits.
  • Develop and deliver regional CI training programs. Mentor CI consultants and operational leaders to build capability.
  • Facilitate kaizen events and workshops for complex regional challenges. Ensure alignment with global facilitation standards.
  • Use data and analytics to identify improvement opportunities and monitor performance.
  • Manage regional governance, performance metrics, and reporting.
  • Act as a change agent by driving adoption of CI methodologies and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Engage stakeholders to align CI initiatives with business priorities and ensure collaboration across functions.
  • Aligns regional teams with global CI standards and ensures consistent deployment across functions. Partners with key stakeholders to embed standardized processes and governance.
  • Support development and deployment of CI strategy and methodology within scope of role.
  • Builds and develops the regional CI team (hiring, onboarding, performance management, succession planning); allocates resources, manages stakeholder relationships, and leads governance routines to sustain CI culture.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or related field is required; Masters in related field strongly preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or agricultural operations preferred.
  • Extensive experience in CI, Lean, Six Sigma, change management and operational excellence; Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (or equivalent) or higher is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills; ability to lead without authority.  Ability to communicate effectively in English is essential (written and verbal).
  • Ability to present and facilitate effectively for diverse cross-functional groups and across all organizational levels.
  • Domestic travel required 25-40%
  • Incidental international travel
