Job Description:Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented
Ground Systems Fire Control Product Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to work as a technical staff member of the GMD Fire Control and Communications (GFCC) Product Team supporting GFC engineering, development, test, and delivery activities.
What You'll Be Doing:- Support the GFC Product Lead in developing requirements and verification criteria, defining fire control system build content and test/deployment strategies/schedules, reviewing objective evidence/project documentation, identifying issues/risks and mitigations/solutions, and tracking technical and programmatic details of multiple GFC hardware and software development builds/projects.
- Assist the GFC Product Lead with next generation Engagement Planning development by reviewing design artifacts and participating in development scrums.
- Support the GFC Product Lead with assessment of Mixed Field Planning improvements for future development by reviewing design artifacts and participating in development scrums.
- Assist the GFC Product Lead with the development of required new and updated interfaces which enables GFC to complete its mission.
- Coordinate GFC sub-product integration with other Ground System sub-products (fire control network, in-flight interceptor communication system, silo/launch support system), Sensors, Next Generation Interceptor silo/launch systems, Command Control Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC), and other Missile Defense System stakeholders.
- Participate in the technical evaluation of contract proposals.
- Assist GMN in preparation, conduct, and after-action responsibilities for system requirements reviews, design reviews, project status reviews, test and acceptance events, fielding readiness reviews, and operational readiness reviews.
- Develop and present technical reports and briefings including support to the Engineering Review Boards (ERB), other Stakeholder coordination, and Operational Capacity List (OCL) approval process.
- Travel as required (estimated 10%).
What Required Skills You'll Bring:- Master's Degree in Engineering, Physics, or related STEM discipline is required.
- Minimum of 12 years direct experience in missile defense fire control systems is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills are required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is required.
- Active security clearance (SECRET or above) is required.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:- Direct experience in digital engineering/DevSecOps development projects is desired.
Security Clearance Requirement:An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.

Salary Range: $134,100.00 - $241,400.00
